OUR VISION
WHAT THE WORLD WAS LIKE:
Three years ago (2200), our world was on the brink of disaster. Problems such as global warming, animal extinction, overpopulation, starvation, and constant war ravaged the earth. Religion was also on the decline because people simply lost hope for a better future.
WHAT DON DID:
When Don came to the world via the orb, she told us that all of the world’s problems were caused by humans and humans alone. She explained that by giving up hope, ignoring environmental destruction, being distracted and lazy, as well as perpetuating ideas of hierarchy and inequality, humans were setting up their own doom.
AS DONISTS:
As Donists, we strive to solve these problems and have made significant progress within the last three years. Our following, and progress, has steadily grown; as of May 2023, 2.8 billion people identify as Donists.
1. ENVIRONMENT:
First, we have sponsored many environmental organizations that help decrease the spread of pollution, protecting our environment from major anthropogenic threats. We strive to continue to do everything we can to save the earth.
2. HARD WORK:
Next, by establishing communities that shares resources and services, work production has increased significantly. This means that issues, such as starvation, are being resolved and lessened as time progresses. As Donism grows, hard work will continue to be upheld as a fundamental quality of humanity.
4. RELIGION:
Finally, we have revived religion through our ability to convert so many people, including (hopefully) you! Religion is such an important part of life; that is why Don brought it back.
It is only by working hard, respecting the environment, and promoting equality that Donists can change this world for the better. We truly belief newfound hope will continue to propel change in our society, under the direction of Donism.
3. EQUALITY:
Also, Don encourages equality, and by giving every person that same basic human rights and standards, we are moving towards the world that Don wants. As a result, diplomacy has become the more preferred option over war and fewer conflicts occur due to this equal treatment.
